Is this essay mistake worth contacting the admissions officers over?

Sooo I applied ED1 to Pomona College weeks ago, and only now did I find a major typo in my essay. I mistakenly wrote "spurned my interest in the medical field" instead of "spurred my interest" in Pomona's Additional Information supplement. Considering those words have near opposite meanings, I'm thinking about sending a brief email to the admissions officers at the general email address (admissions@pomona.edu). I'm just not sure if this is the right place to contact them about something like this or even if an email is necessary in this case. And if I do email them, what information do I leave them? Maybe my name and Common App ID number?? :-/

Pomona's my dream school and while I don't have the greatest chances of getting in, finding a mistake like this definitely makes me nervous :-<

It is pretty clear from the context what you meant. I wouldn’t email them. You can if you want, but the mistake has been made.
