Is this good enough for MIT? Should I take a grad class?

Hey guys,

Do you think this is good enough for a Phd in ME from MIT (or Stanford or Berkeley)? In undergrad seemed like a crapshoot. I'm gonna be graduating in ME from UT Austin. GPA-3.91. GRE 780 Q, 680 V. 2.5 years nanotech. research with in depth nanofab. experience. 2 decent recs (supervising prof and honors thesis reader). Included on some conference proceedings. Might get a pub or two depending on how fast review process goes. Should I take a grad class to show that I can handle the curriculum? Thanks for any responses.

My guess: it can help but it won’t make a big difference.

It would be really helpful I think to take it if it can further enhance your research interest and endeavor at the moment or in the near future.

You should definitely try, I mean you will definitely not get in if you don’t apply and I think you have the right kind of profile to be an average applicant… so you might as well give it a shot.
