is this impressive?

I am a senior by the end of my senior year i have taken 4 college accounting classes Here they are

  1. Federal income tax (took last year, it does not require other accounting classes to take) description: This course provides an overview of federal income taxes for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. Emphasis is placed on the application of the Internal Revenue Code to preparation of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. Upon completion, students should be able to complete federal tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
  2. principles of financial accounting (taking right now):This course introduces business decision-making using accounting information systems. Emphasis is placed on analyzing, summarizing, reporting, and interpreting financial information. Upon completion, students should be able to prepare financial statements, understand the role of financial information in decision-making, and address ethical considerations. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement pre-major and/or elective course requirement.
  3. Principles of Managerial Accounting(next semester) :This course is a continuation of accounting principles. Emphasis is placed on managerial accounting concepts for external and internal analysis, reporting, and decision-making. Upon completion, students should be able to analyze and interpret transactions relating to managerial concepts including product costing systems. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement pre-major and/or elective course requirement.
    4.Accounting Software Applications(next semester):This course introduces microcomputer applications related to accounting systems. Topics include general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, payroll, and correcting, adjusting, and closing entries. Upon completion, students should be able to use a computer accounting package to solve accounting problems.

What is your question? It is not very clear.

I think it demonstrates an interest in business which is a good thing.

Are the courses taking place at an actual college or are they dual enrollment classes that take place in the high school but are also given college credit? If you are taking the classes with college students at the college and doing well, that would certainly be favorable. If they are dual enrollment, I’m not so sure. From the colleges I’ve spoken to, they don’t really give any credit for dual enrollment unfortunately.

Those are all good classes. Pretty impressive list for a high school student (based on your other posts?). If you’re planning to study business or accounting, you’ll be way ahead of the game.
