My planned junior year schedule is:
AP Computer Science A/AP Computer Science Principles (haven’t decided which one yet)
Honors Pre-Calculus
AP Chemistry
Gym
AP English Language and Composition/AP English Literature and Composition (haven’t decided which one yet)
Honors Spanish 5
AP Statistics
AP United States History
- one free period so I don't die from APs :D
In total I’m taking 5 APs and 2 Honors classes because I have to take these prerequisites to their respective APs hmmph >:(
Also, can you guys help me decided AP English Language vs. Literature and AP Computer Science A vs. Principles?
Thanks so much!!
take ap english.
you’re taking 5 ap’s and 2 honors. obviously it’s rigorous lol
AP English language is broader and AP literature is for people who love reading classical novels and poetry.
AP CS Principles is a great introduction sobid recommend that.
Don’t double up in math, drop AP stats, and take a fun class -4 AP s is plenty.
AP Computer Science Principles is a good class, though if you have a real interest in computer science, you can learn some Java (many great resources online) before school starts which would make the class easier, though it is designed to be a first year computer science course. Follow your interests. I think you should take AP Lang because it will help you become a better writer and analyze a variety of texts (and write a good college essay), while AP Lit would be similar, but with a heavier emphasis on classical literature.
