Is this SAT subject Chemistry score good enough?

My son, a senior, is planning to apply to Carnegie Mellon for Computer field. His SAT subject score just came out today. SAT Math 2 got 800; SAT chemistry got 760. Is the chemistry score good enough? His general SAT is 1590; ACT 36; 4.76 for weighted GPA.

Yes. His stats are great. Now he needs to focus on his essays. Good luck.

Will it be helpful if he takes a SAT Physics?

With his current stats, why would he want to give the AOs the impression that he is a one-dimensional drone with nothing better to do than take tests? If he gets rejected with a 760 in chem, it’s highly doubtful he would have been accepted with an 800 in physics.

Thanks for your advice! I will tell him to focus on his essay now.
