Is this schedule to difficult?

So sophomore year I want to take:
Honors American world history 2
Honors geometry
Honors algebra 2
Honors chemistry
Honors biology
Honors English 10
French 1
Would this be to much to handle? If so should I try to ask if I can ask take honors geometry over the summer? Do you have any suggestions on a website I should take honors geometry, I’m an Ohio resident.

If you can’t use the right form of “too” then you probably shouldn’t be in honors English.

@snowfairy137 Don’t bother answering if you aren’t answering the question I asked. Also I’m using my phone and sometimes it acts stupid, I obviously should be in honors English if I was recommended and had A’s last year.

Don’t listen to @snowfairy137 he’s a kid that only cares about himself. He takes high level engineering courses as a dual enrollment student. Doesn’t really help anyone.

Anyway, I think it’s very difficult. You taking biology and chemistry at the same time plus two math courses. Why are you taking two sciences and two math courses at the same time?

Why do you feel a need to double up on both science and math? Can’t you just continue with the normal sequences?

@NASA2014 I want to take AP calculus when I’m a senior and at my school we have to take physical science freshman year but if your teacher recommends you you’re allowed to take honors biology and honors chemistry sophomore year. This way I can take AP calculus and AP chemistry senior year. I’m aiming to apply to northwesterns bs/md program (I know this is a long shot) but you need to take AP calculus and AP chemistry is highly recommended.

@happy1 Well I need to take AP calculus (read above for why) and I really want to take AP chemistry, but the only way to do this is double up on math and science. At my school you can’t take honors chemistry without being in Algebra 2 or already have taken algebra 2 which is another reason why this is necessary.

If possible would it be better to take honors geometry and honors algebra 2 sophomore year and junior year just double up on honors chemistry and honors physics? Has anyone taken chemistry and physics at the same time and if so is it difficult?

That’s a decent schedule but it shouldn’t be too difficult. The Honors Geometry and Honors Algebra 2 mix should be fine, cause in my experience neither class is difficult with lots of homework.

I took Geometry this past summer, and it definitely didn’t overwhelm me. I got it done pretty quickly, although I was on a self-paced program. If you aren’t comfortable, go with this option.

As for Honors Chem and Honors Bio, that’ll be more difficult but it’s still doable. I hate Biology, though, so I’m biased.

If you work hard, you can definitely manage this schedule! All the best to you.

@CavsFan2003 did you take geometry online? If so which website?

Yes, I took it online. It was through ALEKS.

Doubling up on math and science shouldn’t be too difficult unless math and science classes at your school assign a lot of homework, this is the case for math classes are my school, but your school may vary.
