Is this true?

I have heard that admissions committee in Canadian Universities only sees our high school grades and transcripts. Nothing Else. No LOR’s or SAT Scores or any extra-curricular activities. Is that really the case? I may be severely misinformed so please pardon me if that is the case.

What country are you from? Many Canadian universities require SAT/ACT scores for Americans. Some schools require essays. Others require essays, EC’s, letters of rec if applying for scholarships.

You need to go to each school’s website and look up the information instead of relying on friends to misinform you.

The OP is mostly correct if they are attending a Canadian high school. However, quite a few programs are now requiring interviews, essays, additional forms and other standardized testing. You need to look at the requirements for each individual program.
