I am consistently getting horrible scores on the reading section of the ACT (between low 20's - mid 20's), but extremely high on the math/ somewhat high on the english/science... (2 35's and a 33 for math and low 30's for the other 2)

Is that weird that my scores are so unbalanced? (Especially when you compare reading to math)

And any tips on improving for reading? Time is one thing that's keeping me down (scored a 28 when I took one w/o a set time, but even that's still too low)

Just like me; last test I got a 32 on both math and science, a 29 on the english and a 23 on the reading. However, I think it went much better this time. The thing I have trouble with is answering all of the questions within the 35 minutes, so I guess just practice doing that? During both the Feb and April tests I didn’t even get to the last passage, but this time I only had to guess on like 3 or 4.

Yeah, I do scramble for time. That’s the first thing I have to improve on… But besides that, are there any prep books especially good for reading?
