<p>I've learned a lot about colleges these past years, but I haven't delved into frats or anything yet. My best friend who goes to a southern school (which might make a difference) linked me to this vid and said that is how the pledging process goes. </p>
<p>I think it's dumb and corny. Do all frats demand you to answer pointless questions and do something that stupid and almost degrading? And why is this even allowed by colleges?</p>

<p>Frats are stupid. Waste of time and energy. Not only are frat guys bumbling idiots, they make you do pointless activities just to call them your friend. I’ve never met a frat guy that I would go out of my way to hang out with. Theres just nothing special, cool, unique or inspiring about em’. They like to say “i found a bond of friends that will last a lifetime,” but in reality, they could have joined any frat and earned the same “life bond” with those guys too. If you need friends that bad join Eharmony.com or effing twitter.</p>

<p>Be careful what you say. You may offend a whole bunch of people who find greek life significant and meaningful. This is all stereotypes.</p>
<p>I’m sure some people like the whole Greek thing, but it’s pretty much against all of my values, except for maybe the community service aspect. So I picked a nerd school with a lame frat scene. If you don’t want to get involved with Greeks, avoid them.</p>

<p>Nephew is quite nerdy and joined a revenge of the nerds-type frat. The only process he had to go through was beat some levels on a hard video game. Nothing really like this. Please do not over generalize, nov9th. Also, why the HELL is the kid in the underwear playing with himself?</p>

<p>Do most frat houses have a swimming pools and nice furniture like that? I haven’t seen too many frat houses but that one seemed oddly “high scale” compare to what i’ve been in. :P</p>

<p>^ Likely but the two I visited had a broken down bathroom and the house must have been close to 30 years old if not more with much of the same decor. </p>
