I’ve been listed as an “Illinois State Scholar.” What is this? Is it worth listing on an app or updating colleges about?

<p>It isn't worth going through the trouble of updating it on your applications. All they do is convert your ACT and Class Rank into numbers and multiply them together, and if it reaches a certain number, you are considered an Illinois State Scholar. Colleges will know that you qualified as a state scholar just by looking at your stats. As for putting them on future applications, sure, why not. It's not a bad honor to have under your belt.</p>
