Is trinity college need-blind, or aware, I see mixed answers.

Chances are generally slightly lower at need-aware schools for FA applicants, but it usually doesn’t affect very many applicants (only those on the cusp when the FA budget runs out). A school’s being need-aware or need-blind should be irrelevant to applicants; it doesn’t affect the desirability of a school at all.

Sorry, I know nothing about Trinity, so I can’t gauge chances.

I believe Trinity is not need blind.

Although Trinity is not need blind - it is supposed to meet full need of the applicants they do admit.

Thanks for your answers…
I understand that it is supposed to meet aid, but they would avoid me over a slightly inferior student due to my financial needs…? Oh well…There is nothing I can do about it.

Chance me please ?

Im an ASIAN accepted ED this year. Your SAT is 1470, slightly higher than mine but since English is my second language, it’s quite ok. But I think you should improve your CR a little bit. And most important: apply ED if you want to get in with lots of aid. They really dont want to give you a lot of money when ur not interested in the school.
Ah, btw, trinity meets my need. I only have to pay 4k/yr + 5k loan to be paid after 10 yrs.

Not aimed at anyone but I love how the uppermiddle class gets the shaft with the financial aid system in america.

And apply ED and I guarrentee youll get in. ED is significantly easier to gain acceptance, and sure, they are need blind, but if you really really are hurting they will give it to you.

Trinity is not need-blind, they do take it into factor. Being a URM offsets this so I dont think it will hurt you.

Trinity student on fin-aid here. Trinity is need-aware not need-blind, but based on what you wrote you have excellent chances for admission.
