Is UCF a hard school to get into?

I'm kind of concerned of whether or not I'm going to be able to get into a good school. I'm a Junior in high school, going into my 2nd semester. I stupidly joined the IB program which completely screwed my GPA. I'm guessing it's at like a 2.75 unweighted right now.. I know, it's terrible. I have a TON of community service hours. I'm involved in Key Club, Environmental Club, Global Studies Club, NAHS(national art honor society) and Odyssey of the Mind and I haven't taken the SAT yet but I got an equivalent to around a 1700 on the PSAT, and I only answered half the questions, so I think that I can get the score up. If I got straight A's in honors classes 2nd semester and maybe took some extra classes over summer, do you think I could get my GPA up enough or qualify to get into UCF...? I need help!!!

Above a 3.3/3.4, you should be set. 3.2, kinda chancy, 3.0, pretty chancy.

Raise your SAT/ACT to 2000 or 27-30 and you should be set in that regards.

Good ECs.

UCF has become more selective these past few years. (Check with Gator88 for the lowdown). What makes you think you’ll suddenly be able to have all A’s in the Spring semester? You may get all B’s, which would be good, but all A’s really is a stretch - there’s more to it than just doing the work… Your saving grace is that Florida Publics give you extra points for being in IB so it’ll make your GPA “better” for admission.
IB is an excellent program if you can do well. What are your predicted scores?
Still, UCF is a long shot, so visit a couple other schools (UNF? UWF? USF? Flagler? Eckerd? Florida Southern?..)
