so torn between uconn and udel... anyone have any feedback on how great of a college experience uconn really would be? i love the campus, but it's location is in the middle of nowhere. Worth the 5 hour drive?

UConn's definitely worth it. Besides, it's not like you're going to be doing that drive THAT often at all anyways. Not only will UConn be ranked higher than UDel in 5 years or so, but UConn seems like a ton more fun. Elite basketball team, brand new state of the art football stadium with a team getting decent, and there's alot to do at UConn. Although it's in the middle of nowhere, princeton review has it ranked #18 for "more to do on campus." Also, UConn has buses that go to Boston every weekend, and you can catch a greyhound 2x a day if you want to go to NYC, Boston, or Providence.

Isn't "more to do on campus" one of the bad categories?

You will ove it at uconn. You really don't notice its in the middle of nowhere since there is sooo much to do on campus. You will never be bored, i guarantee it.

There are many parties on campus, and you can always join clubs. Uconn is investing in the town itself. There is a link in the other post that alludes to uconn developing itself a bit in 2 years.
