Is USC really hard to get into? what are my chances?

<p>USC is my dream school. it would be really helpful if anyone can give me some advise.
GPA: 3.7uw
ACT:29
I lived in China for a long time. I came to here when i was in ninth grade. This is a disadvantage for me because English is not my first language. It's hard to get an amazing score on the ACT.

I'm a junior right now..I'm thinking about start a new club next year
staff writer for the school newspaper (our school news paper is one of the best in the nation)
arts editor for the paper
community service:
50hours at the public library
50hours at the hospital
work ..it's actually volunteer in a lab at a university.
i play piano ( I love piano )but never won any awards TT__TT...so i guess that won't help me on anything..</p>

<p>Any advise on what I should do at this point would be really appreciated.
I'm thinking about taking the ACt again. What ACT score should I get that could place me in a safer position?</p>

<p>Try the SAT. USC loves high tests scores, and since you can’t do much about your gpa…</p>

<p>2100/32 is a good goal to significantly increase your chances.</p>

<p>Check the USC admissions thread, it’ll give you a clearer picture of what gets you in. But a 2100/32 will give you a good chance.</p>
