Is William and Mary a suitcase campus?

Some do, many actually because many students are from Virginia Beach. VB is about an hour away.

The Wachovia ATM in the UC is pretty convenient since it dispenses ten dollar bills.

since I've been gone since Memorial Day, I would just like to thank everyone for awarding me the totally awesome poster award. haha.

but anyway, W&M is not a suitcase school. Yes, no one flocks to W&M to party, but W&M students don't flock away on the weekend.

The only time it really hit me in 2 years that "wow, a lot of people left" was Easter weekend this last spring, I didn't really notice it during my freshmen year.

VA Beach is an easy day trip.

There is the Wachovia ATM on campus, and I believe there's a no surcharge ATM on campus also.

soccerguy, do you know which atm it is that has no surcharge and which building it's in? also, do you find it more convinent to have a bank card or the w&m express card?

the only things that I personally think the W&M Express card is good for is:
1. Some campus groups do fundraisers (by sellings things) and they take Express.
2. Laundry

I just use real money off campus, works just as well...

I want to say the ATM in the Campus Center (by Taliaferro/Hunt dorms, Marketplace dining hall) is no surcharge, but I can't promise that. I have Wachovia, so I don't pay too much attention to it.
