Is your Valedictorian the most intelligent in your grade?

Of all of the people in my class, the person who got Valedictorian deserved it. He is very smart and a very hard worker. Now I wouldn’t really say he is the smartest, but he still deserves it. Now the Salutatorian though… definitely does not deserve his spot.

The valedictorian at my school is a straight-up genius. 2400 on SATs. 800s on all SAT IIs (physics, chem, bio, lit, world hist, us hist) 5s on all his 15 ap tests. For academic decathalon he was ranked third in the nation. And he’s not at all a d-bag. He’s freakin hilarious. I’m still confused as to how he got waitlisted for MIT but who knows.

lolwut?

high GPA = intelligence. like duh

Our valedictorian is not necessarily the most intelligent, just the hardest working. Doesn’t help that he got Pre-Calculus done with in Middle School so he could just to all AP math classes. :(

…^ that just proves he’s smarter. how in the world is that not fair that he is smarter than you lol. There’s a reason he’s the val.

The smarter kids at my school end up taking massive numbers of AP courses, which drops their GPA due to the increased difficulty/lack of “weight” for AP/unreasonable teachers. So paradoxically, the top students who excel intellectually at my school do not, in fact, have high GPAs.

I have a feeling I know who this val is… cough christiansoldier cough

how do you know who the val is so easily?

^ Christiansoldier’s pretty well-known around here. :D

Yeah. That’s exactly who I thought of when I read that.

@fledging: hahaha. I’m so amazed how so many people (on CC, in our district, in the state) know this guy. I’m still surprised about his waitlisted and that he didn’t receive any likely letters. We already have two likely letters from our school. Their just not for him.

I worship christiansoldier. Now, if only he knew who I was. To be acknowledged by greatness :)

/creepiness.

But really, how does someone know so easily if their school’s valedictorian isn’t christiansoldier?

@anonymous93: Christiansoldier and I are very good friends. If you want me to let him know that he has a secret admirer, I will gladly tell him. I’m sure he’d be flattered. haha

@MattNC - There are only so many people with perfect everythings. It’s fairly easy to guess.

@Beerom26 - I’ll love from afar  Thank you for the offer though. If there is anyone in Missouri/CA that you’d like me to contact, do tell. I will gladly return the favor.

I honestly couldn’t pick the highest GPA’d person in my grade nor the smartest.

That is because you, young grasshopper, are a sophomore. It becomes more clear as you spend more time with the same honors classes dwellers.

I mean, there might be some people who are close, but at my school, one person is commonly acknowledged as the smartest. Whether or not that is true.

This is true. But still, there are brilliant kids who get high and can speak perfect foreign language and my school, and then there are kids who try their hardest, but don’t do anything wrong at all. They just go to school, play a sport, come home and study.

There are so few people who have actually took so many subject tests and AP tests and are at the same time hilarious (talking about christiansoldier).

I think that the valedictorian is one of the smartest and most intelligent kids in my grade and he totally deserves it!
