I am wondering if it would be a good idea to take 3 AP classes and self study for 3 AP classes? The thing is that I would have 2 study halls so I'm not sure if one should be replaced with a class or if both should be used for self study land.

The Classes I would be taking would be
AP Psychology
AP Euro
APUSH

The Classes I would self study would be;
Comparative Gov
US Gov
Human Geography

I would buy textbooks and review packets for the self study classes

There’s no point in self-studying unless you want college credit. If your school offers those classes, colleges would prefer you took the classes and the tests rather than just the tests. If your school doesn’t offer those classes, you’re not expected to take them. You should replace your study halls with classes if possible.

My school doesn’t offer them. I would like to have college credit.

Some don’t give credit for Human Geography even if they give credit for other AP tests, so make sure the colleges you’re thinking about applying to would accept these.

I’m thinking liberal arts so …

Previously forgot to mention that one of the classes that I am considering to be a potential make up for a study hall would be personal finance which is pretty much an easy A but could be helpful since I plan on double majoring in PoliSci and Business before going to Law School.
