a great idea just came to mind. a law degree with a focus on technology and business. Is there a way i can get into a law firm and work with the video game industry? The only 2 schools that i can see myself going to are Harvard or Yale. Any experience or knowledge about any of this?

I think that for this to happen, you need to get into computer science/writing software as an undregraduate, then go to law school where you focus more on corporate law, intellectual property (copyrights, trademarks, patents), and contracts. I could be way off the mark, but that’s how I envision one doing this. I like your idea! Good luck! :)

I wouldn’t even bother applying to Harvard. There’s no reason when you’re just going to go to Yale anyway. Good luck!

Chubbsubb - From reading your posts, it’s apparent that you’re a CC student looking at Med/Law/Architecture and your two biggest concerns are school prestige and future earnings. Want to know the real way to get into Y/H/S (Cornell too, from your post history)? Buckle down and get into a 4-year college and spend less time living a fantasy life on the internet.

Edit to add: you could always be a paralegal by day and play video games by night.

Nooo he will be an equity partner at Watchell by day, manage Berkshire Hathaway by night, and program best selling video games as a hobby.

^ truth finally
