<p>It has to be a good feeling to have made that final decision. We're still hanging in there with USC, along with a U. of Wash acceptance. It will come down to final FinAid package for us - so far USC has made the first big step with a scholarship and in-state tuition (which together match tuition for UW). Hopefully by the time we have made our campus visit to Columbia our own final decision can be made.</p>

<p>Congrats to your D on Ohio State! It's a great school...beautiful campus, great city, etc. etc. etc. I'd like to speak on behalf of the other McNair Scholars and Finalists and wish your daughter good luck at OSU and beyond!</p>

Would you share with us what made your D pick OSU?Was their mioney offer better?Are in instate there(the TN kinda makes me think you're from Tennessee)?Is it a particular program? Did your D visit and not like something?
Anyway.best of luck at OSU....bring those long johns,snow boots,hats and gloves!!</p>
