Hello again to all of you wonderful advice-giving parents.

I just thought I'd let you all know that I took two full weeks over the summer and traveled to 8 of my top choice schools! I had a blast and it really put some things in perspective for me. CCM is now my #1 choice school for voice and music theatre. next i believe is Carnegie Mellon, though I did not get the chance to speak with a rep from the musical theatre program. then NYU for musical theatre @ tisch ( i think i'm voting off steinhardt), Juilliard - voice, UMich, northwestern for voice, IU(was not very impressed with...might have been the guide, or the day), and i think mannes and manhattan schools of music have been voted off as well, because mannes is way freakin' small and housing is on the other side of manhattan, and manhattan because their facilities were not impressive and i don't think i would be happy there...though they had awesome dorms! then again, so did a lot of places.

places i have not gotten to visit but are still on the list: rice, ocu, yale, app state univ., uncg, unc, furmon, emerson, and some others that have escaped my memory at the moment.

anywho, i've started applications at several, i'm looking for scholarships, i'm contemplating beginning some admissions essays, i'm stressed about financial aid, application deadlines, my gpa staying where it is, senior project, audition material, etcetcetc...but i'm otherwise doing great and want to thank you all so much for your help in the past. if you have any tips, hints, bits of information, or anything you think might be of use to me at all please reply...or just post your opinions.

thanks again!
