Ithaca Area Activities?

What are some of the popular things for students to do in the area.

What are the hot places to hang out in town?

ba-ba-ba-bump

There is a reason there has been no replies to this post.

but they do stuff. Even if those things aren't activities. That was a pretty funny reply though.

Not much. No one hangs out off campus much. Sometimes ppl go to collegetown to eat, and of course people go shopping. There are some good restaurants in the commons, but not much else. Skiing is a big activity, and Greek Peak is the place to go for that, about 20 mins away or so. As far as hangout spots, there arent really any. Rulloffs and Johnny O's are the popular bars, but if you are underage, its not worth trying to get in since its practically impossible. Additionally, you wouldnt really want to, since going to a frat party for free is pretty much the same thing, but a lot more fun.

How is the park at greek peak. I'm one of those crazy freestyle skiers.

So ppl stay on campus 90% of the time? What places in college town are popular for eating, etc.?

Ive heard that greek peak isnt too great, but im not a ski/snowboard expert, being from FL and all.

Yeah ppl stay on campus 90% or more of the time i figure. Good places to eat in collegetown....CTB of course, Peace, Hong Kong, Rulloff's, Greek House, Pita Pit, Mama T's, Aladdin's, Eat Dessert First, Miyake, and Plum Tree (famous for sake-bombing and not checking ID's). So basically all the places in collegetown are good to eat at and there is a decent selection.

Any forbidden spots. Not forbidden, but anywhere you'd recommend to someone looking for a really crappy time?

Huh? Why are you looking for a crappy time?

i'm not, i'm wondering if there are any places to avoid that are notoriously bad or something, but yet still manage to stay in business.

How is college town? I mean to ask, *** is college town? I've heard it mentioned, but have no idea whatsoever of the scope of it. At all.

Hah no notoriously bad places. And ragnarok, did your message get censored? weird. Umm, collegetown is a few blocks of commercial establishments surrounded by a larger residential area just off the south end of campus. Its a popular place for upperclassmen to live, and also a convenient place to go to eat, hang out, and buy stuff.

It seems they censor w-t-f now...a lil weird, yes!
