Can anyone tell me what the academics are like at Ithaca college? Also, how are the programs in Exploratory, Anthropology, Business and Photography? What is life like on campus, etc? My daughter is considering applying there and other than the website, we don't know much about the school. Thanks!

I know a recent alumna who grew up in the Pacific Northwest and just loved her experience at Ithaca College. Infact, she was an anthropology major whom studied abroad for a semester. She highly recommends Ithaca for the academics, the student activities and the general "quality of student life" in the city of Ithaca.

Really--great! That speaks well of the college. So glad you told me Lake Washington, since Anthropology is one of the majors my daughter Liz is interested in. Thanks!

Bump

Sorry, I'm just really interested in ithaca and want to hear some more reviews.

Anyone have any thoughts?

I don't know much about the college itself, however, one of the VP's of my college quit after this year to accept the job as President at Ithaca. I reeeeallly didn't like the guy. In fact, most people who knew what was going on at my school (mostly student government members) didn't like him either. I mean, I've never heard of anyone basing a college decision on who the President of the school was, but just throwing it out there. The new President of Ithaca is an ***

Thanks for that bit of info. I hope an ***hole president doesn't effect the student life too much.
