Even being in different groups, I have to see TF there all the time....sheesh. lol. Fun conversations. I'm psyched, going to the Caymans over the spring break since my friend in my squad is from there! :)

This semester is different. Our new leadership is all about rewarding good and fairly punishing bad. Our training staff rocks (have a session in 30 min ouch!) and we have a much better time from that perspective. Only 4 days till 40 days starts and hell! Good luck to my 2010 brethren!

A little over 20 weeks remaining. Just enough time.

I took my son to be fitted with a first class pair of running shoes today. We've put together a training schedule designed to put him in peak physical condition for BCT. I've mapped out a six mile running route on some country paths near our home. I'm going to subject myself to the same training regimen, and I've persuaded my other three sons to join us in preparing for and running a five member marathon relay (between 5 and 6 miles per leg) in May. We're going to tackle this as a family!

Having grown up in the suburbs of Denver I can tell you Its the Altitude! There is a reason football players suck oxygen on the sidelines in Denver. Running in the hills at the Academy are even tougher. All the running will help and you will aclimate a little faster.

Ya I've been running and trying to keep my CFA scores up. I plan on doing this until Improcessing Day. I want to step it up a notch once I get my boots though. Specially like you said the altitude being such a killer.

lmao....I definately stopped working out around May. Got VERY lazy, and didn't do much of anything. Hurt going to BCT, but I survived lol. But this is not advice, just saying my plans went down the pothole. :)

I ran maybe 20-30mi in mine and wore them around school for a couple months...needless to say, they were VERY broken in. When we started BCT, they had us wear running shoes for part of the day (to prevent blisters from our boots). Those shoes were less comfortable at that point.

I like my boots. The way they hold at the ankle makes them easy to walk in. Good in snow and ice especially. Basically, you truck through anything. What's easier to off road in? A Land Rover or a ford focus? Which is more comfy on the road? Well, same answer to both.

Oh man, I feel very sorry for harry potter fans. ESPECIALLY potterfan, since it comes out during yall's basic, I can guarantee your cadre will make sure you know what happens in it, mainly the end. Sorry guys. ;)

My 2nd semester was pretty busy, so it went by in a flash! Enjoy it and live a bit for the moment. You will have the time of your life here. My perception of time here: BCT was sloooooow, lived for each MEAL so you could break. But then the academic year is so fast! I mean, 2010 has 37 more days till recognition and I had to let my class rep know what color prop and wings I needed. It's crazy how time is approaching!

Bask in the knowledge that yall earned your dreams, that's an amazing feeling that will never go away!
