Hahahaha, my little brother came up with oosk. Hahaaaaaaaaa.

you ess see. :P

haha rokypa123 i too really want to go to USC, its my number one choice. i applied to 11 schools, but i still love usc the most. i did a summer program there and loved it. nyu acceptance was nice but i just cant afford it, and nyu gives terrible financial aid... i wouldnt be able to afford usc either though, but i hear their aid program is good, so hopefully ill be able to :)

OMFG, I sound like a total "teenie" but I love NYU. It's like the USC of the east coast, no? Haha. Anyway... Marshall and Stern are "sister schools" according to someone at USC. I didn't apply though.. I thought the deadline was Jan. 15th, turns out it was Jan. 1st! Hahaha. I still <3 USC more than NYU :)

Haha I got into NYU .. I hope USC is similar education-wise but there's no sense of community at NYU at all - and I'm from the area so it's a little too familiar - that's why I'm thinking West Coast! USC ahhh

Cali > West Coast > East Coast

USC > East Coast.

don't get carried away shane :P

Oh yes, sorta forgot...

USC > [insert other college names here]

So I just checked the mailbox a little more than an hour ago and instead of finding anything from USC, I got an acceptance letter from NYU's Tisch, which I wasn't expecting at all :D It feels good finally being accepted into a college (I've heard nothing official from my safeties. Crazy, eh?), esp. it being NYU of all places but...

I STILL WANT TO HEAR SOMETHING FROM USC! Anything, I don't even care if it's a Post-It note saying "Yes" or "No"! Lol

Haha well, to me USC >>>> NYU, due to the beautiful collegiate atmosphere, weather, girls, and the excellent football team as well. Not saying NYU isnt great, because it is great, but I'd prefer a more traditional college experience. Though I thoroughly enjoyed NYU's campus (after I toured there last year I knew I had to apply).

ranganz - The only college that I visited out of all the ones that I applied to was USC last April when I did Explore USC and my God was I blown away (I took a crapload of pictures). My tour guide was awesome (I believe his name was Jason) and I think we had a connection for a moment because he asked different people what major they were interested in and I was the only one who mentioned film in the SCA and it turned out that he was a film major. So he ended up telling me a lot about the SCA, the film festivals, guest speakers, the new building, etc. I remember feeling a sense of community when I was there and even some of the students cracked me up on the tour. I love USC and cheer on their football team every year. But honestly, I think I'd be torn between NYU & USC (if I even get in) since they're both great schools.

WHEN IS THE NEXT WAVE!?!
I'm feeling left out because a lot of people at my school have been accepted!!

We are assuming letters were sent today. Californians will probably receive them tomorrow, and so it just depends how long it takes for a letter to reach you. 3 days, max, probably.

I live an hour away from USC, so hopefully tomorrow!

haha, it seems like everyone does. Anyone from escondido? Its a town a little bit north of san diego, but still south of LA.

I'm in LA.

I'm in Irvine, if you know where that is delass.

My status is still 12/03/2008
I'm guessing they either thought I was a great student or a really bad one if they made an update that quick.

Yeah, i do. though nothing about it.

Hahaha, it's pretty boring.

UCI and nation's safest city = only thing anyone knows about Irvine hahaha.
