also.. did you notice a change in your status?

what time zone you guys in?

i'm so anxious. i'm at school right now and that's all i think about. (i haven't seen any indiana acceptances yet on here, but i'm sure there have been).

Oh geeeez about 6 more hours... I'm so nervous. :(

mv3: I just received my admission decision in the mail.
I am from Europe. And DHL emailed me to inform me that a package was on its way from USC. For three days I tracked the package online as it travelled half way across the world. I then called DHL and they gave me the information of when it was schedueled for delivery.
My status has actually not changed since the moment I submitted my application (meaning January).

Looks like USC really does send out admission decisions in waves. I'm so impressed USC used DHL to send me the decision, only took three days counting the weekend!
Good luck to you all.

really? my status still says it hasn't been processed and I have a January date - what does your status say?

EnglishPhoto: I believe we have the same application status.

I copy pasted mine below.

"Application Status:

The University of Southern California is pleased to offer the ability of students to receive online messages regarding the status of their application. However, all decision notifications are made via postal mail.
Undergraduate Application (Part II, Fall 2009)
Thank you for submitting your Part 2 application. Applications can take several days before being processed. Please check back later for any updates to your application status.

Status last updated: 12/30/2008"

Same as yours?

Same thing!!! Exactly ! You're the only person I've seen who has that status.. and you got accepted today?

I had that status when I first applied, but its been updated since then.

I think people are overanalyzing what the status updates mean. i really think that we should just focus on a recent update, most likely 3/10 and after..or just wait for the mail...

EnglishPhoto: Haha you are also the only person I know who has that status. And yes I am a USC Trojan as of 7 hours ago.

Candy: You are absolutely right. As you can see, my application status is absolutely useless and completely misleading since I was accepted today (still has not changed...). As Candy says, just wait for the mail. Good luck.

USC's admission envelope is reputed to have high production value. I think, to top it off, when the excited potential Trojan opens the envelope there should be a Music Chip/url, that would play [url=http://www.fightmusic.com/mp3/pac10/USC_Fight_On.mp3]Fight On.

iskander what major/school?

ahhhhhhh i want one so bad!!

just checked the mail and nothing came for me today, but i live in NJ.

JW - That would be AMAZING. No doubt about it. :)

@JW Muller - my acceptance package didn't play Fight On, sorry. ;D

CoachMike: I applied to the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences with an intention to major in Classics.

The acceptance package [with or without the music] is still simply amazing. The certificate of admission is the cherry on the top of the cake.^^

Now that would be cool, if there was a small cake inside the package :D lol
