Maybe I am just irritable because I have yet to hear back from the two schools I applied to. I would really like to attend the UC Davis Decision day, but because I'm an English Major I have yet to hear anything.

I know I am just being a complainer, but all of the incoming freshmen finding out I guess makes me jealous. I feel like it's kind of done backwards, but oh well, I guess I had my chance as an outgoing senior.

UCLA is going to take even longer of course, so I wonder how I will survive that.

So all admission decisions are mostly Freshmen?? I doubt it...some are transfer students as well...I'm still waiting to hear from UCD /UCSB/UCLA and its making me hella nervous so yeah you not alone !

I don't care if transfers are last to know. I would just like a set date where all transfers find out on the same day. It's frustrating when a few get in at a time, and the rest of us have to check every single day just to see we're in review. If the UC's can't get it done until a certain date, then why not just make that the official date to find out. I haven't been to the Berkeley website since I turned in their update forms because they said April 30th, but I have to keep going to UCD and UCSD every single day with anxiety and anticipation because it might be there. Just post a date like Berkeley!!!.

I guess you can take solace in the fact that there is a price for finding out first. Freshmen UC admissions are being cut around 20% system wide ( number given by UCLA admissions rep ). Transfer admissions are not being cut, they are very slightly raising numbers actually.
I'd take that trade off any day for waiting an extra month. Also, think about all the money saved as a CCC student.

hmmm.... UCLA just released freshmen decisions today, which seems earlier than previous years.... hopefully we'll receive ours earlier than previous years as well? (April 24 seemed to be the day for us transfers for the last several times)

yes, this waiting thing is quite agonizing.

I wish i applied to schools outside the uc's so i could be even more nervous.

I hated how applications for private schools required references and what not. It's always so weird asking for references, especially when its required that you get some references from your high school even when you're a transfer.

Today was a horrible day in may aspects, and knowing about UCLA would have made it all better...if I got in, that is. If I didn't, I might as well have committed suicide, today was so awful.
