Oh okay, thanks for the info

Does anyone know if they are releasing another round of decisions tomorrow, 12/22?
Received the email on 11/14 saying that they received all the documents, hoping I can hear back before the close the admissions office on 12/23.

Thanks!

A few dorms were closed last school year for HVAC renovations after mold incidents.

What is considered generous for OOS? My S received $16,000, so $4k per semester. Nice but not enough to make much of a dent in the tuition. But was invited to apply to SSA as well. Anyone know how much that could add up to? Thank you!

I’m assuming you meant $4k per year for a total of $16k. That’s squarely on the lower end of the automatic out of state scholarships, which range from $1-11k per year. Keep in mind that if your son has high test scores, your amount may go up when the re-evaluation happens in the spring. The initial award amount is test score blind.

The SSA is your key to money at IU. It’s a uniform application to a slew of different scholarships that your son may be eligible for, all with different eligibility requirements and award amounts.

Ah, thank you! Yes, $16k. He does have high test scores and a strong resume so hopefully award level will increase to make it a viable option. I appreciate the insight!

Does anyone know if IU admissions office is closed due to the holidays or should we be expecting decisions to come out today after 4PM?

Did anyone receive anything today???

He should be a direct admit as he meets their criteria

My OOS daughter was offered $8,000 / year ($32,000 total).
