IU Graduate School and Basically Graduate School in General

Just for some background info : currently a history major and triple minor (ethnomusicology/folklore, sociology, and music in general studies) at Indiana University. I have a 3.81 GPA ( last 60 credit hours would be a 4.0 and my GPA in history only is a 3.9). I have worked in the Jacobs School and am currently an intern within the Kinsey Institute.

Took the GRE last week and received a 157 Verbal, 148 Quantitative (not that great of a math score but it was on average for current humanities/social science majors so i don’t feel as bad) and a 4.5 on the Analytical Writing section.

My questions are 1) Am I a possible candidate for IU’s History Graduate Program with this type of background? It’s my top choice and I have of course have other schools in mind just in case. Am I even competitive enough for other history programs though? 2) Are my GRE scores acceptable or should I retake the test? If I could avoid paying 200 dollars again that would be great but I’d definitely do it again if I had to. Also, should I contact IU’s admissions to see if they have a minimum GRE score?
