Hello, I live in encinitas, CA which is southern california and close to San Diego. my top 2 choices for school are Indiana University at Bloomington and UCSB... I was accepted into indiana's contemporary dance program as well as UCSB's. I am having a very difficult time deciding between the two schools. They both have so much to offer and are both great schools for dance. If anyone has input or knows about the differences in dance programs I would love to hear it!
thanks...

Indiana is the armpit of america, a fly over state. Maybe visit, I wouldn’t go there even if someone payed me.

UCSB no doubt FishTank. Santa Barbara’s up and coming and looks much better on a resume than an Indiana diploma

i would go with UCSB. location location location

i’m actually trying to decide among UCSB, U Miami, William and Mary, and Trinity University (San Antonio)…i have no clue what i’m going to do

fish tank cleaner: are you from CA?

streetlights: that is a tough decision, i too, have no idea what im going to do

I attended IU and was on the dance team, the RedSteppers. I love that school! My husband went to UCSB and my and son currently attends UCSB and I love that school also. If you would like to email me privately, I would be happy to discuss pros and cons with you.

BTW I live in Carmel Valley, just down the road from you.

oh i go to school in carmel valley. I attend canyon crest academy.
the dance team is completely separate from the contemporary dance program, however, do you know anything about iu’s dance program?
