Hey guys! Congratulations on everyones acceptances! I was just hoping some of you may be able to provide input on Indiana University, Denison University, and Tulane. Here's a little about me:

-Male
-Want to major in public relations and journalism
-Think I want to go to law school
-Want a good/accepted gay scene
-Like to go out and party/drink
-Sort of afraid of going to a big school because I feel like I'd get lost, yet Denison may be to small...
-Want to be involved in club sports and organziations
-Would like to get to know my professors

any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

DD1 goes to Denison. Very accepting student body and professors. Many different activities. Columbus is not far for things to do. You definitely get to know your professors.

I would say Tulane but they do not have a journalism major. That's definitely something to consider. Otherwise, it sounds like a solid fit!

I'm a gay prospective student trying to decide between Tulane and Georgetown and Tulane unfortunately does not have much of a gay scene. Nevertheless, it's a very accepting campus. It's just a very small community (but surely bigger than Denison) that you'd think would be a lot bigger in a city like New Orleans. Fortuantely, there's Loyola next door, which seems to attract more gay students and expands the dating pool somewhat. Tulane and Loyola students don't seem to mix a whole lot, though, despite being literally right next door to each other.

Plus, whatever Tulane's gay scene lacks, the city of New Orleans certainly makes up for. The French Quarter is especially gay friendly with numerous bars and clubs.

Also, Tulane has a versatile communications major. While it's not journalism, it's somethign to look into if you decide on Tulane.
