I've dug myself a hole

I'm currently a high school junior in Pennsylvania with a 2.9 GPA. I'm planning to go to college for computer programming or computer engineering. My poor GPA is primarilly the result of my laziness, which I am aimed to change (however, it's probably too late now), coupled with my advanced schedule:

1) Calc (65% average so far)
2) AP Chem (78%)
3) AP US History (83%)
4) Physics (83%)

At the end of last year, my class rank was barely in the top 50%. However, since then, I think I have fallen beyond the 50% mark. What do you think my chances are of getting into any of the following colleges with a 1930 SAT score (650 math, 660 verbal)?

1) Pitt
2) Penn State
3) Case Western
4) Itacha
5) Pace
6) Loyola

If I have an outstanding start to my senior year with less challenging classes (besides AP English), will that help my chances significantly?

Thank you.

What up Jared:

Improving your grades significantly Sr. Year would definately help. Explaining the situation with your grades to colleges and then getting all A's the first semister of Sr. year would show them you want to improve. Assume you're in the top 50 percent of class:

Pitt: Reachish/Matchish...SAT scores will help, depends on what ECs are like (going to branch and tranfering is possiblity)
PSU: Match..low grades/good SATs, write good essays and they'll prob look past them, if not, transfer.
Pace: Match..probably in
Ithaca College: Slight Reach...SATs are fine, grades are a little too low, get up past 50th and maybe, or have some excellent ECs and essays, or become a URM.
Loyola: Reach.
Case: Reach.

Sorry, but even in state, i doubt youd get into PSU with a 2.9
1930 is pretty good, but PSU is getting really picky about grades.

Umm...which Loyola? There's a LOT of them...

lol bump for my bestest good budday. (and i think he means Loyola in Md).
