i've sent everything in... advice please on chances

<p>Just sent my last form to Georgetown and i'm beginning my long wait to hear a reply. Any advice on my chances would be very much appreciated:</p>

<p>High School
GPA: 3.8
SAT: 1400
Junior Varisity Soccer 1 year, Varsity Soccer 2 years
National Honors Society
Newspaper Assistant editor 2 years, Editor 1 year
Various other clubs
Lots of APs, honors etc</p>

<p>College
Top 20 school
3.7 after first semester
Newspaper
SGA Freshman vice president
Good rec. from a professor</p>

<p>if you need any other info to decide, lemme know</p>

<p>last semester i took english 101, intro to poli sci, stat, health and philosophy</p>

<p>this semester i'm taking intro to psych, a world history course, intro to film, and another poli sci class</p>

<p>if i had to guess, u either go to a liberal arts college or you go to Emory or Vanderbilt or Notre Dame</p>

<p>those are the only 3 colleges that ppl will say I go to a top 20, any other, they just name it....like Chicago or Northwestern or Cornell or JHU or anything</p>

<p>becuase Vanderbilt and Notre Dame are colleges people love to hate and Emory is the transfer gateway as previously established. Good deductive reasoning bball.</p>

<p>lol, bball I actually wasn't making fun of you, I was agreeing with you. That wasn't a sarcastic good at the end. I've noticed that people really hate Notre Dame and Vanderbilt. And you agreed with me in a previous thread that Emory is a transfer gateway to other schools.</p>

<p>is this gtown sfs? that's fairly well known, and i'd assume competitive. looks like your record is very good as well. I'd say there's a good chance that you're in, but gtown is competitive, so who know</p>

<p>Vanderbilt is one of the best universities why would anyone want to transfer out of Vanderbilt..I plan on transfering to Vanderbilt U. from Tennessee State University...I'll take your place..LOL</p>

<p>it's a great school but it isn't for me. it's also very far from home (philly) and it'd be nice to get a little bit closer because my father isn't in good health.</p>
