Ever since freshman year, I haven't dedicated more than 25 minutes to HW. I usually do it on the train or in class. PSATs are coming up, so to prepare I took a few practice SAT tests. The first time I scored a 1950; the second time, a 2120. I decided to take one today, and after 5 minutes, I tossed it to the floor and went outside. Eh, I guess I can attribute it to the enviroment of the room at the time (clothes all over the floor, cramped space, etc.). A favorable place for study would be the library, but ultimately, I'd rather be able to have enough self control to sit down and do my work anywhere. Any tips?

Listen to a (stationary) radio while working. It'll lessen your focus and may cause you to make more mistakes, but at least it'll keep you in one spot.

Go to library. But if you want to work on focus, make things look interesting for you and reach for some enthusiasm. Get some attitude as my coach likes to say :)
For example, when I study APUSH I feel like I'm reading a historical book and feel myself at the very least captain Sharkey.
