Overcoming Procrastination/Laziness...

Junioritis is hitting me super hard right now, and I REALLY need to get back into focus for my SAT IIs (US History and Math II) coming up in two weeks.

AND on top of that I need to bring up my grades (I've got a B+ in APUSH and an A- in Chem o.O)

Tips for fighting Junioritis? I've tried the whole "give my self some time to relax" thing but I find myself either going out with friends and coming home too late to focus or I'll just get on CC until I sleep...

Before in the year I was able to study pretty intensely, but I've run out of gas. Any ways you guys have for my to be able to pull through these next two weeks?

Always remind yourself of the ultimate goal you're reaching for, the good life.

I just remind myself that I can always overcome it tomorrow

Use procrastination to your advantage. When you have tight time constraints, you'll work hell of a lot faster. Prioritize your time properly. Don't spend the whole day working on a project because you'd only end up working at a ridiculous slow speed. Then again, don't pull off a project to the last hour because then you'll run out of time. As corny at this sounds, create a schedule and stick to it.

Find some motivation.

(Speaking of the SAT IIs, I just finished Barron's SAT Math 2 :D. I feel so accomplished.)

Hmm I'll have to try that. I think I accidentally did a little of that this year, and it seemed to have worked. Wish me luck!

I'm halfway through Barron's...

You taking it in June too?
