Hey, I posted a thread earlier trying to narrow down my list. I've found some schools I'm interested in, and I'll probably revise this list, but I'd love for some people to chance me! Also, do you think I have enough safeties and matches... or is it too many reaches... I need to make sure I get in somewhere! :]

GPA
3.826

SAT
CR- 670
M- 680
W- 720
(1350/2070)

ACT
E- 35
M- 31
R- 30
S- 28
C- 31

(I plan to retake both tests, and as of now, I'll just be sending in the ACT)

ECs, Awards, Volunteer stuff, etc:
Golf: co-captain sophomore through senior year
NHS
Several leadership positions around school
SADD member
Lots of volunteer work
Same job since freshman year at a tennis place--I play tennis as well, but my school does not have a team
Internship with insurance company... work for them over the summer
There's a bunch more... but I think you get the picture and no need to go too much into detail

The List:
UPenn
Cornell
U of Chicago
Tufts
Johns Hopkins
Haverford
Wesleyan
Carnegie Mellon
Boston College
Bucknell
Brandeis
Colby College
Hamphire College
University of Vermont

Chance me? Let me know what you think of the list! Should I get rid of some reaches, add some more realistic schools? Cut it down?

THANK YOU! Send me a PM or post a link and I'll chance back! Promise!

Thanks… I agree that Cornell, UPenn, U of C and Hopkins are reaches… but I think many of the others are too. I certainly don’t think I’m “in” at all of the other schools!

Anyone else? I will chance back or respond to any of your threads if you just PM or post a link. Please? :]

I think your pretty much good at all the schools but UPENN. that MAY be a reach but you never know. Chicago might depend on what your nationality is since they are really big on diversity. I think you are def. ini at Vermont though. :)

UPenn- Reach, if Wharton high reach
Cornell- low reach/ high match

Yeah, my test scores are low. I am planning to retake though, and that is an unweighted GPA. I’m not planning to send SAT scores. I plan to use my ACT and I think I can bump it up a point without too much trouble, MAYBE two points, if I’m lucky. :)
