I recently read a thread where a student was concerned with his test scores and wanted to know ivies that looked less at test scores than the overall picture. In my situation, I have very strong test scores (35 ACT) SAT pending and a good class rank (7/420) but my EC's are right around average. What ivies (or other very prestigious schools) have the most quantitative admissions?

Harvard and Dartmouth weight it the most.

I would think the larger ones would i.e. Cornell and Penn

ivies aren't really interested in people with amazing scores but nothing to help them stand out

"ivies aren't really interested in people with amazing scores but nothing to help them stand out"

Don't "amazing scores" make a person stand out?

By the way, I have things to make me stand out so I don't appreciate that assumption. I merely said I am not spectacular in the EC's department. I have plenty of unique interests and activities to write about I just believe my scores are my biggest attribute.

andrw313, there is a cliched assumption that people with high scores must be dull. Prove them wrong. You can be smart and interesting. In fact, the odds are in your favor. Write great essays, use your intelligence to excel in your ECs. Ignore the drivel.
