@SaphireNY perhaps you should start your own thread with those specific questions. The OP seems to have a different focus.
Actually I was trying to help the OP out. The original question can be interpreted one of two ways, does OP want a list of which ivy schools do not require SAT2s if you do ACTWs, which is a pretty basic question and can be answered as the MOST DO NOT AND only ones who do REQUIRE it are H & P, Mit, Cornell (private only) and Dartmouth. This post would then have been done by the first or second response.
Or was the OP really asking as Ljt said:
“I think SaphireNY is asking the right question. My son has a 35 ACT. … In short, do the best schools expect to see SAT & SAT II tests along with a student’s ACT?”
The conventional wisdom (and I did not attend the Yale information meeting) is that they do expect it from students for whom taking the SAT2s is not a hardship. If twenty people had chimed in that they know many people IRL who did not take the SAT2s and are all over the ivies great. Everyone I know at an ivy other than Cornell State took SAT2s. I am curious as I am always happy to find conventional wisdom is correct or not. However, I personally do not care either way as I am done applying to college. If someone else wants to open another thread, be my guest.
