hi guys

i'm tryin for an ivy league education.

in igcses (gr 9 -10) i got 6 As, 2 A*S and 1 B

My SAT score is 2220 (same percentage as 1480 on the old SAT)

Percentiles for Math - 97% (730)

And Verbal - 94% (690)

And Writing - 800

Extra curricular activities..i haven't really put everything together but i know for sure im not as involved as some ppl are..i do a few things but ths it

Wonderin how i would fare...Not really trying for Harvard...but Columbia would be great..even Stanford's awesome

SAT score puts you in range but ultimately means nothing. Saying you got A's means nothing. Everyone gets A's in High School. You know that kids with perfect scores get rejected all the time, right?

Are you an interesting person? THAT gets you in. Have you done internships, research, community service?

Scores are good. Now you need to get those EC's down on a resume - doesn't matter if you don't do 100 different things. Of the things you do do, highlight significant involvement. I.e. leadership positions, competitions/awards, etc that is important. Show that you are well rounded, not just an academic. They want Scholar/leader/athlete/musicians, etc etc. Let them know about what EXCITES you, what gets your blood pumping, what YOU are interested in...
