What are my chances for a relly good college?

hi guys

i'm tryin for an ivy league education.

in igcses (gr 9 -10) i got 6 As, 2 A*S and 1 B

My SAT score is 2220 (same percentage as 1480 on the old SAT)

Percentiles for Math - 97% (730)

And Verbal - 94% (690)

And Writing - 800

Extra curricular activities..i haven't really put everything together but i know for sure im not as involved as some ppl are..i do a few things but ths it

Wonderin how i would fare...Not really trying for Harvard...but Columbia would be great..even Stanford's awesome

ANd btw i realise that ivy league is jus a name like a brand or a make...it's not necessarily the best...harvard's way overrated so many ppl say tht...so im not only lookin at ivy league but colleges like carnegie mellon etc too which are awesome

You have a strong shot at Carnagie Mellon as long as your math score is in the 700s.

and others - ivy league or top rankd? lol i've seen u bein very negative. prefer ure not like tht wit me.

OK, than I think you're a shoo in for the ivies.

Not really negative... more like honest and reasonable...

Basically a 1420, no chance at an ivy. Sorry.

What are you interested in? Take a look at some LAC's.

I think you probably have a good shot at Carnegie-Mellon (sp?)..I don't think it would be a bad idea applying to a couple like Cornell. I say if you have dream school definintely apply. It's hard to tell exactlly what adcoms are looking for these days.

i'm interested in an economics major. whats LACs?

btw another question. are all ivy leagues equally difficult to get into? say comparing cornell to harvard. i'm sure therez a clear difference.

No, all ivies are the same difficulty to get into even though their acceptance percentages range from 11-25% or so and their average SAT scores and GPAs differ. You obviously already knew the answer, why would you even ask?

lol i wudnt hav askd if i knew. it jus feels like therz a difference.
