I’m a little confused. Do you want us to tell you how you can improve your chances at the Ivies, or give you college recommendations? Or both?

Both i guess hahah

Where are you from? Rank? Have you only just taken those three AP classes? Can you confidently say that your schedule is “most rigorous”?

I’m guessing you have no hooks (URM, legacy, recruited athlete). What I would concentrate on first is raising your scores, since you say they aren’t good. Then…honestly, if your course rigor isn’t good–and it doesn’t look that great–then you’re sunk.

I can’t help you on the other thing, I have no idea about integrated science programs.

What are not awesome SATs?

I thought you were giving up?

Take the SAT and ACT as soon as you can. From that, you’ll have a pretty good idea of whether you can score high enough to be competitive for ivies.

But, seriously, you need to keep an open mind and visit other schools that you might like if you don’t get into an ivy.

i am taking the most rigorous coruses and am in the top 10%

What exactly were your SAT scores and what do you think you will be able to get them up to?

I read one of your other threads and it said you got a 174 PSAT but that you haven’t taken the SAT or ACT. Is that true?

What is your SAT score(s).

i havent taken the SATs yet

AK, which Ivy league are you talking about. Which do you like? I suggest looking into each school and expanding your options.

by the way I have a hook on columbia even though it isnt my first school choice- i have a grandparent who went there and was one of the first Jewish women to attend the university if that counts.

^If you are interested, you could try to apply to the JTS/Columbia dual program. I have a friend that got into Columbia that way but was denied ED from NYU.
