IVY LEAGUE Is this enough?

I have excellent test scores (34 Comp. ACT) and great extracurriculars, as well as great essays.

But I'm afraid that my course schedule was not difficult enough through high school.

By graduation, I will have taken 4 AP's (Lit, Lang, Psych, Euro) and 3 DE's (Statistics, Calc, Business)

Would i be automatically rejected because of this?

No, not at all. My kid is a sophmore at Yale and did a similar number of AP’s. He did take all the hardest classes available in his area of interest which were not all AP classes though.

I disagree w/keesh’s pass for you. It’s undetermined without the following:

The actual number isn’t the point – in your school, how many APs were available? Is 4 a lot in your school? Or not so many? If the latter, then your willingness to push yourself will come into question.

I stand by my post. Her rejection will not be “automatic” and therefore; “No, not at all”. The rest of my post and T26E4’s makes the same point.
