Is Monday March 31st set in stone? Why did it have to be a Monday -- I was hoping it would be on a Friday like last year so the weekend could follow right after.

Me too, so I don't go into school hysterically crying lol. I need at least a two day mourning period.

Do we get our notification online or not? I heard Stanford (I know it's not an Ivy) sends e-mails. What about Yale and Columbia?

yale yes columbia I don't know

Yale should be through your Eli Account.

And when do they show it?

WHY monday?

ugh.

that's the first day back from spring break.

ugh.

Last year it came out on Mar 29, Thu. Ivies notifications all came out at once via email.

where did you guys find out about the "ivy league notification date"? everyone says it's march 31 this year, but i can't find anything about it anywhere except on CC

Crud. I won't be home until like 7 pm on Monday...

^ umm.. you do realize that this thread is about a year old. it'll be on a Tuesday this year, still the 31st of March.

@ plumsnow: you can check it on Harvard's website here: Harvard College Admissions Office: frequently asked questions
and since all members in the ivy agreed to post on the same day, it'll be that Tuesday.

for your entertainment...

MakeCountdowns.com - Ivy League Admissions Notifications!

...Still won't be home until 7.

I'm deciding whether it would be better to leave school early (I can without missing classes due to my Monday schedule), which would tell people I've applied to Ivies (no one knows anything about my apps other than I got into Stanford) or stay and simply pretend that I didn't apply anywhere.

I'm home by 4:00 so I have to spend an hour staring at a clock...maybe worse than having something to do but being late.
