I know I should probably already know this but does anyone know the exact date/method of acceptance/rejection notifications?

it was the 29th last year and you could find out on-line prior to paper notification. this year? who knows............

I believe all the Ivys send them out March 31st!

thanks guys!

Yup, it's definitely March 31.

{countdown begins}

53 days!!

i believe it's more like 45. don't make it any worse than it is!

yeah, it's totally 45.

Also...

Where do we get the online decisions? What's the url?

They should send you an email.

an email w/ the decision or the url?

i prefer to have my heart broken by a piece of paper, not a poorly timed email.

I totally agree with you theprez. I'm actually considering not checking my e-mails until I get all the letters

Me three! I couldn't bear having a rejection email.

I agree that the email is a lot more impersonal. You would think that if you bothered to apply, they could at least go to the effort of sending you a typed snail-mail letter instead of a generic email.

Once you get the e-mail, it takes the excitement out of rushing home from school to check the mail. You already know the thick packet, or disappointment in most cases, is coming...

Trust me, you'll be singing a different tune 1 week before the decision. At that time you won't care how the decision comes.
