This is a quote from an article in the Harvard Monthly this month. I thought that April 1st was the Ivy notification day??

"Notification letters to all applicants will be mailed on March 30, and emails will be sent later that day to the 92 percent who have requested electronic notification.

Admitted students will be invited to visit Cambridge from April 16 to 18 for a comprehensive introduction to life at Harvard. They will have until May 1 to make their final college choices."

2 days earlier than last year! With the increased applicant pool, it makes you wonder how much less time admission officers are actually spending on your app…

“…With the increased applicant pool, it makes you wonder how much less time admission officers are actually spending on your app…”

That truly begs a more universal question: What did you do beyond the requirements that will allow Harvard (or whatever school you applied to) to spend more time on your app?

@RainbowSprinkles, why? Dontcha know you’ll receive the letter a few days after they would send the email? Why would you put yourself through additional days of suspense?

There is no suspense for me. I know I’ll be rejected haha
Plus, it’s much more fun to open up a letter than clicking on an e-mail. I think it’s worth the wait!
