how do i go about getting recruited by harvard for tennis or track?

What year in school are you now? What kind of HS are you in right now?

private in southern california

sophemore, haha, just trying to get prepared...

Classof2010- Good try, but the Ivy League schools do not give athletic scholarships.

yeah, but they do make it easier to get in if you are a rec athlete

they don't make it easier but the give you a special colored envelope and a very high likely hood if the coach is pulling you in. While you are correct that IVY doesn't give athletic scholarships some kids who qualify for aid and get a named grant award get confused and think that it is an athetic scholarship.

IVY schools give need based aid in various forms. Athletic Scholarship is not one of those forms.

Actually I was recruited by 9 schools and Yale, Stanford, and Cal are part of them. I'm not sure what you call it, but they offered me to play for them.

Well- you are in a high-profile revenue sport. Let us know what you decide so we can follow your collegiate career. Have you committed to one of the schools yet?
