Ivy League Transfer?

What are my chances of being accepted as a transfer student to Harvard, Yale, or Cornell? A bit about me:
my high school ecs: 4 year member of math league, choir (2 years of concert, 2 years of chamber. I’ve been in a choir since second grade, just jumped around a bit on which one), and musical theater. I am also involved in a select-singing group. My junior year, I created a writing club and am currently the president of it. For this year (my senior year), I was named co-editor of the school newspaper, as well as worked with the key club group to create an after-school tutoring program. I tutor twice a week for an hour. In the community, I volunteered at a children’s science camp for a week, as well as tutored a boy in English. I’ve also been riding horses non-competitively since age seven (on-and-off, since it’s an expensive sport)

My high school GPA is 3.86 weighted, not including this year’s classes. I am taking a full course load right now: Pre-calculus, Honors Government, Choir, and A.P. English Literature and Composition (currently getting all A’s). Last semester, I took Spanish IV (received a B), Psychology/sociology (Grade: B/A), Choir (A), and Honors English IV (A).

Next year, I plan to attend the University of Findlay, where I hope to take part in their student government, as well as participate in work study and do some lab research (I’m a biology major). I also want to volunteer more in their local community, at the Cancer Patient Services Center (I’m aiming for Radiation Oncology in medical school). I didn’t apply for any Ivy League Schools this year b/c my parents wouldn’t help me pay for application fees (and I don’t have a job due to lack of transportation), and we wouldn’t have qualified for aid. I want to transfer b/c of better financial aid and much stronger academics. So what are my chances, and what can I do to improve them? (please no wisecracks)

UPDATE: my ACT score is 28 composite and my sat score is a 1720.

All are high Reaches especially since you have not taken any University classes, HS GPA and test scores are well below the 25th percentile and it is even harder to transfer into these schools then to get in as a Freshman admit. I think you need to make the best of your time at the University of Findlay and reevaluate your school list for more realistic choices. Good Luck.

Cornell is your best bet, and has probably the highest rate of admission for an Ivy, but still very very competitive. Y and H, is not something I would even remotely consider, given your previous SAT and ACT score. What you need to know that is that the seats available for for transfer admission at these schools are tied directly to attrition. Since attrition is less than 2%, well, there are very few spots available. Further, there is a basic assumption that you would have been previously qualified. If one were to peruse recent rates of accepted transfers at H and Yale, you would find that about 1500 very qualified students applied for 15 admitted spots at Harvard, and at Yale, 1000 students applied for about 2 dozen accepted spots.

You would not have had any chance of getting into those colleges from high school, and so - if you are dissatisfied with Findlay - I highly recommend directing your efforts to colleges where you would have a chance.

As things stand, you’re not a realistic prospect for admission as a freshman, less so as a transfer.

You would have not gotten through Freshmen admission, and you won’t get in Ivy league either. In fact, those who get in transfer, they would have been admitted during HS in general(but not always).
Concentrate in where are you for now and then consider transferring to somewhere else at the end of the academic year.
