Ivy, MIT and Stanford chances

Hello, I’m writing today for the obvious reasons, to get your opinion as to whether I’ll make it in the jaws of death called Admisions.

Unweighted GPA: 3.77
Weighted: 4.2
This is a top 5% score at my school

I have a recommendation from the rotc director from basically all Ivy’s and MIT

The trend I am seeing on decision threads is, well, there is no trend.

It seems the information being presented on CC in these chance and results threads is not enough to determine admission to top schools.
There is something we CC can say though. You are qualified for all of those schools. Problem is, besides having major national/international awards, there is no way to determine chances. It seems to depend on things like recs, essays, fit, passion, and luck. Just to guess though, on average, a person with a 33 act and 3.77 gpa probably has an acceptance rate close to the average for those schools (maybe slightly above for Ivy’s with slightly higher acceptance rates, but the difference is probably negligible) I will really come down to the subjectives.
