<p>Things happen until very late (i.e. admits from the wait-list), but it depends. However, it can’t hurt to be in contact with the coaches.
Your brother should contact all the coaches in whose program he might be interested in. Of course, it requires some delicate tactics if he wants to be recruited in either one of two sports at the same school because it may make it look like he’s only interested in using his sport to get admitted.</p>
