Ivys, Stanford, Northwestern........??

So I've always thought I'm not going to fit into any college. Some people say I'm destined for ivy's but I know I'm not because of my gpa. I have safeties. But here you go........

gpa: 3.66
SAT I: 2350 (one sitting) math: 800, reading: 800, writing: 750
SAT II: math II: 800, French w/listening: 720, chem: 720
APs: BC calculus (5), PhysC mechanics (5), Eng. Lit (5)... i'm taking some more this year

current schedule: math independent study (cause i'm a year ahead), AP Physics B, AP stats, AP french, AP art, some english and history classes but my school doesn't believe in APs or honors for those...
Extracurriculars: ballet at a reputable school (not disclosing my location), play violin in prepertory program at a reputable music school; both are nationally, internationally recognized. ballet programs in the summer (Boston Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre), went to Boston University Tanglewood Institute, play in a nationally recognized youth orchestra, toured China this summer w/them
I'm also a visual artist, had some stuff in local galleries
student forum editor for school newspaper, NHS member, AP scholar blah blah
I have some dept awards in history and music, Nat. Merit Semifinalist, some math awards (local)
national charity league

i thought my essays were pretty good, but that's all relative. one was about ballet, the other was about snowboarding. english teachers always like my writing...
read only 1 rec, it was laudatory but not specific, don't know about others
and i got this thing in the mail for presidential awards? I don't know really what that means...
i'm kind of normal, but wierd. no idea where i'll end up.
but thanks in advance!!! and good luck to all other seniors!!!!!!

Do you have a class rank or approx percentile? That should better put your GPA in context. But everything else looks really good, SAT is awesome. I think your probaly in at Northwestern, and competitive for Ivies and Stanford. Good luck!

I think you have a chance at the Ivies, yea your GPA is a bit low but that's just one part of your app. It seems as if you have a good courseload and your SATs are awesome If you want it in numbers this is what i think

Northwestern-75% chance of accept

Ivies: have a good shot at Cornell/Brown/Dartmouth around 35-40%?

Columbia, HYPS crapshoot good as a chance as anyone else

my school doesn't rank......... i'm probably top 10% or something

Your school doesn't believe in APs for history and english? Blasphemy!

Any specific schools you're thinking of or a major?

Based on your posted profile, I think that you will receive at least waitlist status to every university to which you apply. The only reason that you might be rejected is if you accidently apply to one of the few all male schools; and, even then, you will still probably get an acceptance. In short, you are very well qualified for any school in the country.

great chance obviously (gpa is UW i assume).

Why doesn't your school "believe" in AP's for humanities? What does that even mean? lol
