I heard that Cornell gives around 25k to students for need based (i know they dont give merit based). Is this per year, or total for all 4 years?

Is this the same for the rest of the Ivies?

There's no one figure...it depends on your demonstrated need. What is true that that all the Ivies will guarantee 100% of your demonstrated need, and yes, the average aid package is around 20,000 for all of them.

all of them?

all of what???????

all 4 years or each yr

yea im confused? for all 4 years? or per year?

All of them: all of the Ivies.

The $20,000 figure is the average package per year. Once again, of course, that is just the average and each person's package depends on need as demonstrated in the FAFSA, CSS Profile, etc.

Sorry for being unclear, I was in a rush when I wrote that.
